Itthiphol Kunplome is Pattaya Mayor has helped ease expenses by launching 10 school buses for public school students. Ten fully air-conditioned buses are set to pick students up from various bus stops and drop them off to Pattaya City Schools from 18 May onwards.
They are currently renting these buses for the period of 5 years. The buses use CNG gas and each bus can hold about 70 passengers. The bus is 12 meters long with one entrance door and one emergency door. Employed 20 bus drivers and care takers to be on the bus with the students. Each bus is equipped with a radio which will be used for performance reporting and emergency notifications.
